“No matter how hard things are, don’t give up. Things always get better eventually, eventually I think things will improve, maybe not that day, probably the next day or something.”

I loved this, what an approach to life.

Can so relate to that old cluster of biker and his view on cycling. Really makes me think about trading in/up all those bikes I have for one well built steel all rounder and just seek out the open road for days at a time.

Also a lot of great metaphors for life in that video.

Double thumbs up

I of course bought stuff when I was younger but always as now had 1 bike at a time period...in recent years even more so I really came to realize It's Not About the Bike And I am not talking about Lance even though he also used that phrase

For myself....Cycling is about the cycling...no matter how far or how fast etc etc....It is The Beauty Of Cycling that is my passion & it is what I see in him too.

Mind you....Not to say anyone cannot enjoy their passion anyway they want

I fully agree but bikes are a bit of a partnership so it's good to like the one/ones you have. Sort of the other half of a marriage. I've never needed the latest and greatest but I'm grateful for the ongoing advancements in bikes. I loved my first Raleigh as a kid riding around Lake Michigan but I wouldn't want to do it on that bike now.
