This thing is Bernal's to lose. Which is to say, it's Brailford's.

Brailsford wants a British to win for sure.
If not then a Columbian from Ineos is ok

Bernal is young and doesn't seem to have personal ambitions above those of Brailsford/ Ineos etc....At least now.

We will see tomorrow what happens with Bernal vs Thomas....

Don't totally understand the criticisms of Movistar. They won the Giro with arguably not the strongest rider in the race, with tactics, and being active at "unconventional" moments.

They won the stage today, with tactics that left both the option open for a Landa bridge if Landa was strong and Quintana wasn't or a Quintana win if Quintana was strong and Landa wasn't (which happened.)

Stage wins are generally seen as more valuable than a placing out of the top 5, Richie Porte said the same yesterday and they got that stage win. And Quintana moved into 7th.

I get that people see their eccentric approach to the race as just that, but they won the only grand tour this year thus far, and could really make a chaos of the race over the next two days.

I guess if they just followed wheels and did nothing, people would criticize to?

They have riders all over the races, both in the Giro and the Tour. I, for one, find it interesting whether is works or blows up in their face, at least something is happening.

Landa's post race interview said a lot - what a mess.

The pre-show had the longer footage of LR and TM...for sure LR should get tossed. TM should have gotten a fine. But, there is no way they reverse that call

NBCSN is channel 220 on Direct TV. Couldn't find stage 20 on channel 220. They moved it to channel 11 (SF Bay Area)

Saw that as he crossed the line - it looked weird.

It almost looked like he had experienced a nose bleed.

Blood. Possibly from his nose at altitude, at least that's what the commentators guessed.

Alternatively, he bit his lip with excitement at winning a stage.

Ha you're seeing it in your own vision, because it's obvious the team is not happy with the pecking order... Teams like Movistar aren't bankrolling and bringing that firepower to "Win stages". They're at the TDF to podium or win it all, which means supporting a leader. Nairo was supposed to be said leader, but can't pull the weight. The criticism is of how the team is now handling the poop show after their fearless leader had faltered....

Quintana is the best climber on their team, and he potentially could have went into Yellow today if Movistar didn't start bringing it back. I've never seen a team with a GT winner in a large break, bring him back. NEVER!
