Im a pro.cycling activist, a leftist tree hugger, i support anti racism and gender equality. I find the TG/GT presenters extremely funny and enjoy their shows a lot (just look at the many failed attempts to copy that kind of show, including new TG and the various national adaptions to see how good they are). Any one who takes Clarksons on-screen persona too serious, is imo not getting the joke, really. He just loves to provoke...

Having said that, i enjoyed "Clarksons Farm" a lot, it has, unlike some of the later TG stuff, the right balance between Clarkson being Clarkson, and Clarkson taking the farming serious (while remaining entertaining). The sidekicks are hilarious and authentic, too.
If you're missing out on it because of PC or whatever, well, tough luck for you, because yiou're missing a great piece of tv entertainment

Not trolling at all. To me he's funny.

As to the other part what's good for the goose is good for the gander but a lot are hypocritical and won't see it this way. Just because we view things differently doesn't make me a troll. I haven't called anyone a troll for not liking Clarkson have I?

I totally get other's perspective of not liking him personally. I just don't care about the personal part, I enjoy the entertainer.

As to charities and such 10% is 10% percent no matter what your income level is. Equality is equality. But yeah, I get that a lot won't agree with me and will instead settle for calling me a troll. No worries, life goes on.

Absolutely. Funny how people against the "bully" resort to name calling when someone holds a differing point of view. But about the show, I think the producers could do a spin-off of people trying to decipher what Gerald is saying. Caleb makes a great sidekick for Clarkson too.

That reminds me: anyone have a translator circuit for that guy? Couldn't understand a word he was saying

Caleb knows more about farming at 21 than Clarkson does at 60-some. Hope Clarkson listens to him this season

This was particularly alarming - Bezos’ wealth shown by pixels: https://mkorostoff.github.io/1-pixel-wealth/

I found the series to be highly entertaining and a much more sincere look at (what I suspect to be) the REAL Jeremy Clarkson. Farming ain't easy but other than his silly Lambo tractor I think Jeremy tried to follow the rules.

The rules, however, are part of the problem. A few weeks before I started the series, I started reading Wendell Berry's _The Unsettling of America_ and, I'll tell ya, I would love to see some healthy and public discussion on proper farming techniques. If Berry is correct, and I tend to think he usually is, Clarkson's doing it all wrong when the institution is telling what to do.

Oh, and to address Clarkson's alleged homophobia, I think he said it best: 'How can be I homophobic when my favourite pornography is lesbian?'

Yep, picked up for a second season. I hope Caleb is still on next season. He's funny and he puts Clarkson in his place. His girlfriend Lisa is good too. She doesn't put up with his ****e either. I think in reality he's more like this (as he is in this show) than he is on TG or TGT.
