AND if still there..and how this works sometimes with aluminum..warm some boiled linseed oil and dribble down the seat tube and down tube(if possible)...it 'may' lubricate the miters enough to stop a creak. I have done with with Cannondales and Ellsworths..

Wow thanks for all of the great responses guys. I’ll work my way through the list and keep you posted. My biggest suspicion is the wheels but regrettably I don’t have another set of TA 650b to try out.

Don't forget the seatpost clamp/bolt and the seatpost rail bolts and the seatpost rails themselves. Happened to me once (Fizik Ti rails where they connected to the shell, squirt of silicone dry lube fixed it) and I was convinced it was in the bottom bracket.

Extremely common source of creaking. Some brands much more than others.
Update: it was definitely the freehub. Replaced it on Friday and the bike is blissfully quiet again.
