Oh, and the Magnesium Dogma is still one of the best rides of all time.

I still own a Magnesium Dogma, a Dogma 65.1 and an F10.

One point to add as well; everyone is making an aero bike and an all-arounder (ala Spec Venge / Tarmac) yet the F10 - F12 really covers both. Great climber, great descender, slippery in the wind. It just works.

They are wonderful machines, and in my humble opinion the best production bikes built today.

If someone said that I had to ride a carbon bike for a living, it would be a Dogma.

They do everything really well. They disappear underneath you, the early carbon frames like the 65.1 and think2 were much deader feeling that the later bikes.

The quality of worksmanship is at a different level than the others. No frayed carbon bits sticking out of the bottom bracket.

They still use an Italian threaded bottom bracket. Not because it is cheaper, but because it works.

They were the first to use Kevlar in their steer tubes, and they truly spend the money on R&D to make better race bikes.

Scratch the itch..... it feels good.

Oh, make sure you ride it with some comfy wheels though!

I just gotta say how much I love threads like this. Truly. Informative, fascinating, and deadly on the wallet! Hearing from folks I "respect" (as far as forums relate) is worthy of my bike nerd fascination.

So much better than actually working!

@clean, I think we live close by. I'm in LO. I wouldn't hate bumping into you on the road. I think we also ride pretty close to the same size.

Sort of off topic to said Dogma bloodlust, I just picked up a C59 (thanks DuddyJ!) and am in the process of building.

Yes, rain in pdx has driven me to disc brakes (Kona Rove). I HATE road grim/grit and the sounds of skinning brake tracks alive for 5 months out of the year. I'm also lazy and love to not clean bikes.

ufff, its extra ugly in that matte black and discs. I would love one that is rim brake painted some decent color.

If they had the 9170 or SR disc version in 59.5, I'd have gotten it already...... ETap is good too, just prefer the others..
