Not necessarily true, as the higher-end alloy wheels also go star ratchet:

But yeah, these are good mid-level hubs equivalent to the bitex/novatec offerings at least. Easily serviceable and roll pretty well, just not as bling or machined as their upper offerings. Had them on three different sets of wheels with nary a hiccup, and they internals are the basis for a lot of OEM wheel hubs from giant to roval and bonty.

I stand corrected. Looks like the manual I was referring to was a bit out of date and didn't include the PR wheel series:

This is exactly what I was thinking. I'd probably not be inclined to pay up for a 370 hub over a Novatec or Bitex, that's true.

Actually, I wasn't even aware you could get the 370 hubs separate. I thought they were OEM hubs for DT's own pre-built wheels.
