DT Swiss and Campagnolo

I'd like to build up a set of disc brake wheels based on some DT Swiss 350 hubs, 100/135mm QR, Centrelock rotors, Campagnolo freehub.

I can't find these for sale anywhere, so I guessed I could just buy the Campagnolo freehub and swap it with the Shimano one that they're normally supplied with.

I've found it for sale here

https://thecycleclinic.co.uk/collect...r-350-240-hubs

But the description states that it will NOT fit DT Swiss disc brake hubs. Does anyone have any idea why?

How can I run Campagnolo 10 speed on DT Swiss disc hubs?

Yeh sounds like it doesn't work.

But https://forums.thepaceline.net/showp...4&postcount=17

Although they look like slightly older DT240 hubs

I don’t know why they wouldn’t swap? What speed freehub do you want to use?

Best way to know for sure is to make a call to dt swiss. USA has two numbers on their site under contact us. You can email grand Junction, co location and get a quick response during business hours too.

Re:

Just get a Shimano splined cassette that's spaced for Campy... like Miche or Ambrosio.

Pretty sure if you use the 11s Campag FHB and end cap from 'road' hubs, it'll work fine..just j bend spoke hubs, not straight pull.

BUT email this gent..he knows all, sees all->DT

I use DY350 disc hubs and a Campy freehub body - it works perfectly .

It works, but I cannot remember where the hub came from. Maybe it was Shimano 11 and I switched out for a Campy FHB and end cap that I already had?

That's interesting. How old are your DT350 hubs?

The way I understand it is the disc hubs come with an 11 speed Shimano MTB freehub.
This can be swapped for an 11 speed Shimano road freehub (road and MTB 11 speeds are different widths).
But it can't be swapped for a Campagnolo road freehub. Even though both the Campagnolo and Shimano 11 road freehubs BOTH work on the non-disc road hubs.

To update, I received this reply from Andrew @ DT Swiss US

Thanks for the question. We currently don’t offer a disc brake Campy hub, but you can absolutely install our star-ratchet Campy freehub onto our 350 disc brake hubs.

I wasn’t able to open your link, but here is the part number just for reference:

Huzzah, thought so..the other link was for straight pull hubs, maybe that's the difference. Just gotta make sure to use the supplied end cap.

What's the deal with the end cap? Are there Campy-specific 12x142 end caps?
