Firefly Titanium Frame Pump

this thing is absolutely beautiful. price is not too shabby either, considering what the standard Impero Ultimate runs. I only wish they could match the finish of my IF Ti bike

but maybe the brushed finish will match my Moots...

Gorgeous. Appears they've taken a Silca Impero Ultimate pump and replaced the aluminum body with titanium. About a $135 upgrade over the $165 base price.

It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

Wow. I know of a couple of bikes that would like that snuggled up to them.

Are flats still a thing?

Maybe? it's been a while. I tempt fate so a fancy pump will earn its keep.

I saw that on their instagram and immediately realized that I need to complete my bike.... but I have 4 titanium bikes that already have the Impero pumps on them.... wonder if they would just sell me the ti bodies!

This looks great! Any chance someone has asked if there's a weight reduction? Don't see it on the page.

$300 for a frame pump is “not too shabby”? I admire your deep pockets.

One of my first business ideas when I left my job was to start making these bad boys out of Ti. I sourced Titanium tubing, took apart my Silca frame pump to measure the internals, reached out to some Instagram influencers for marketing ...

Long story short, it didn’t work out. Margins were THIN even at a $250 price point, and I had no brand Cache like Firefly.

These are far better executed than I even thought they could be. Kudos to firefly for doing this. People (I) would pay for this if I had the means.

Here’s my non working prototype in case you guys are curious...

The major difference is your prototype looks like it has a ti handle, the Firefly is just the main body. I don't know if you did the math with a wholesale account with Silca, or working on assumptions/retail prices.

Since Moots frames are bead-blasted, the best match would be blasted, not brushed. Not sure if Firefly uses the same media or coarseness as Moots, so the finishes might be slightly different, but in the same ballpark.
