Suspect Tommasini on eBay

Is this an actual Tommasini?

Not looking to buy, just came across and it didn't look right.
No model name
Never seen a seat clap area like that on a Tommasini.
Welds look terrible.
No signature "T" engraving anywhere.

I agree that it looks suspect. Even giving credit for a no name after market fork I would still expect branded rear dropouts (usually Tommasini for vertical in the 90’s) and some identifying mark like a “T” cutout on the BB shell.

There are models available to the European market that differ from what is exported to U.S. This appears to be a lower end frame given the poor welds. Tommasini does offer bell shaped stays similar to these on some of their frames. The lack of a T in the seat stay cap is of concern as they usually have that. But, I wouldn't rule it out from being a Tommasini, just not one that appeals to most on this forum.

That decal pattern was from around 1999-2000.

I don't recall ever seeing a MTB with a regular rear brake and downtube shifter bosses.
