Shimano x Paul Thumbies 2x11?

Has anyone built or seen such a combination? Found some Shimano Thumbies in the bin and have machinations of turning the Elephant NFE into a flat bar basket build. Ideally I could still use the CX70 front derailleur and a new GRX 810 rear derailleur which I already have. The Thumbies would be a nice addition to the cockpit versus some ugly Shimano mtb shifters.

I used Dura Ace 11 speed bar end shifters on Paul mounts.I used an Ultegra RX800 rear derailleur, with a CX70 front derailleur and everything worked great..John

I did the same with 9-speed and Paul Love Levers (I think they are…) - works great!

I ran thumb shifters then thumbies for years. Then I went 10sp and 1x

Haven't ridden 11sp, but the rest that I've had have been great
