For that price, I think I'd rather have this pegoretti and a trip to SF to pick it up

It does look really cool and super well executed, but of course the price is delusional.

Pretty much a guarantee that as cool as that bike it, it will probably never ever get ridden. shame really.

The price doesn't seem unreasonable if you are basing it on all of the individual pieces that went into it. On the other hand, finding the buyer who would actually pay for this exact combination of customizations seems highly unlikely. This seems like the kind of bike that you don't build unless you've already collected a 50% deposit from a buyer. What's the back story?

I am digging the stylish 'Left Outside' patina on cogs & chain.

Perhaps an unpopular opinion... If I were going to drop $30k on a bike, I'd want it to scream "this bike is worth more than your car," and the aesthetics of this just don't do it for me. Obviously a trained eye would pick up on the insane spec and know it was expensive, but I want a head turner.

Maybe if it came with a cool box/my apartment if I ever buy anything like this, like 3T.

CEO had 15k bike built for himself. “Why don’t we write this off as a business expense?” Photo shoot, offer it at a price no one will pay, but if in the off chance someone does, be able to make 100% margin.

Maybe I missed the geometry chart, but at $30,000 I would like a little more detail than the frame measures 55cm.

At first glance, it looks like dropbar conversion of a mid-80s mountain bike. One could probably build up something aesthetically similar for under $1k.
