English Aero Custom Rolling

Got this recently here from Jack Bissel as frameset with some bits.

Ready to give a proper ride for the nice weather that has arrived finally here in PDX.

Pretty much a parts build with used parts. If I like it a lot it will get the 6870 bits taken off for R8050, or maybe I will wait/ride it and go Dura Ace Di2 Or eTap which I've not tried yet.

I would go with Campy or the next generation Dura-Ace for that bike, though I know it's your money. I just think a frame that nice should have the top-shelf bits and I'm not in love with the aesthetic of SRAM.

No cable provisions, else it would have got my 80th Ani Record groupo.

Internal Di2 original design.

I was thinking EPS or the new Di2 that hasn't actually been seen yet by anybody other than real insiders who are not talking. Neither really makes sense other than having the coolest toys.

I love Rob English’s style. Really great bikes. This bike is so beautiful.

Probably him and Chris Bishop might be my two favorite builders at the moment.

I thought you may have meant EPS a few minutes after I posted It occurred to me.

Maybe a future build for it if it sticks around... When will we see EPS in 12s?

It's already there. The only thing is that now, EPS is only available in Super Record, so you are talking a lot of money. As you'd expect, it is really nice and really expensive. Di2 is more rational based on price.

My short rides in on my street so far, it feels nimble, light and snappy.

The 28mm Conti 5000 TLs came in the mail yesterday, so this morning I will pull the 23mm Schwalbs and mount up the tubeless 28s and plan to ride a 40 mile route.

English builds some cool machines.

Is the bar tilted up or is it just the photo?

Prob tilted as I think he said the drop is more than he normally runs.

This bike is awesome and so is most things Rob does. I have been seeing this bike for years in the classifieds and surprised it too this long for someone to get it. Cant wait for a better build with just black bartape

Correct on tilt and the CM of stack i would prefer.

When i release the catch, black tape cam go on by the buyer.

Maybe some planking will get me the stretch...
