Parlee Z1

It has arrived ...

A multi-year search for a used Z1 in a geometry that works for me yielded this 2006 build Z1. Nude carbon wax finish, with the only badging being a faintly-seen Parlee on either side of the downtube. It's a rather raw look ...

First ride today (commute to/from work) after picking it up last night from ShockTreatment, a master mechanic who never fails to build up a beautiful finished product!

Record 11 and de-badged Bora35s tubulars (Plus some DC landmarks in the background)

That's hot. Have you thought about stripping the clearcoat off the fork and changing it to a matte finish?

No, 60cm ST, 58.7 TT, and 21 cm HT. Chainstays are 42cm ... Not quite as responsive as my stock Z3, which is a 59 ST, but a very comfortable all-day ride.

I toy with sending it back to Parlee for some kind of re-finish over the winter, but for now it's in Batmobile mode ;-)
