For sell my beautiful Merckx with full Dura Ace 7400 and 7410 gruppo. I bought it few years ago from Australia. It was a custom bike for previous owner who won few local races. I am selling it because I am returning back to Puerto Rico and sadly I decided to take my Colnago steel with me.
Overall in exc. Shape despite a rust spot in one lug close to Head Tube. Nothing major.
This bike rides great and catch attention people with compliments.
It has a rolls saddle. Chrome on shifters are gone. They can be paired in any color...or be polished.
Pedals are not included. I will include a black wellgo ones and a black Silca pump in vg which came with the bike.

I will be very surprised if the bidders pay up after bidding this high, nice frame but don't think its worth $1700.00 plus dollars.
Agreed.
But if they do, have one just like it, also a Wanta respray, size 57.

I say we will see it back up on eBay in a few weeks when the winning bider doesn't pay.

Agreed. I know these frames have a strong following and can pull a premium. The Wanta repaint can be seen as a pro and a con. It looks mint but what did it look like before the refinish? I have lusted over these bikes forever. Even it was a 60cm complete I would be hard pressed dropping $1700+.

Dude IMO is asking too much, beautiful bike tho. All looks in perfect condition.

IMO is a repaint, a really good one.

Nice stuff nevertheless.

I'm not sure it's a repaint. I've seen that color fade combo on some Merckx's that were only sold in Europe.

I am glad to see I am not the only one thinking this. If you are seller and the buyer doesn't pay, do you still have to pay the fees? I have considered selling my recently assembled Corsa Extra https://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=255220 but would try it here first so it could have a loving home, but crazy money is still crazy money.

If the buyer does not pay, eBay refunds your fees and allows you to relist for no additional cost. They used to provide you a way for a Second Chance Offer - offering the next highest bidder the chance to purchase at their last bid. If you register the buyer as non-paying they get a strike against their record/score.

60th Anniversary Schwinn Paramount 56cm Lugged Steel - $1,000

60th Anniversary Schwinn Paramount Lugged Steel - $1,000

https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/b...193559599.html

Super rare bike! If you love lugged steel frames, or if you are a Schwinn collector, or both, this is the bike for you. This is a rare, 1998 60th Anniversary Schwinn Paramount bike, built by match cycle in Woodinville, WA. Tim Isaac ran the place, and some very famous builders worked with him building these - Martin Tweedy, Curt Goodrich, Steve Hampsten, Mark Bulgier, Kirk Pacenti, and others. Based on the serial number of this frame, this was build in 1998, so it's a true 60th Anniversary frame!

Even better, this one comes with the original, matching Time Carbon Fiber fork - most folks opted for the matching lugged steel, even fewer went for the carbon fork.

Built out of Reynold's 853 steel, hand-lugged with custom lugs, and with Tim Isaac's trademark vertical dropouts. Original blue color.

Updated with some modern components to convert it to a 10speed, but still several period matching parts are still on the bike and in excellent condition!

Full Specifications:

Size: 56cm (56.5cm C-C top tube, 56.5cm C-T seat tube)
Fork: Carbon Fiber
Frame: Reynolds 853 lugged steel
Brakes: Dura Ace 7700 Caliper brakes
Wheels: Shimano WH-R550 700C wheelset, with white Schwalbe Durano 700x23c tires.
Stem: Specialized 1" Threaded
Handlebars: Cinelli Aluminum Road, 44cm width
Seatpost: 27.2mm dia "long reach" forged aluminum
Saddle: Cardiff 'Cambria' in White (leather, Brooks Swallow clone)
Crankset: Dura-Ace 7410 53/39, 170mm length
Bottom Bracket: 103mm English Threaded Phil Wood Titanium spindle with stainless cups
Headset: Dura Ace 7410
Shifter/Brakes: Dura Ace 7800 10sp
Front Derailleur: Dura Ace 7800
Rear Derailleur: Dura Ace 7800 (with upgraded jockey wheels)
Cables and housings: Jagwire Elite Link
Cassette: Ultegra 12-28
Chain: KMC X10SL (brand new)
Pedals: Shimano PD-M540 SPD

Only about 1500 of these were ever built, between 1998 and 2001 (when Schwinn was sold). I've only seen about 8 up for sale in the last 6 years, only 2 of which were fully built bikes (and not just frames).
