To those riding the 2018 Pan Mass Challenge this weekend...

Looking forward to seeing you out on the road. I'll be the guy in the 2018 PMC jersey.

...and wings on my helmet, and sunblock arm sleeves, leaving from Wellesley.

Stay upright, stay safe, stay dry, wear sunblock!

Lee

We’ll see you out there.

I’ll be the guy, in a PMC Jersey, leaving from Sturbridge.

Probably sporting a Rapha brevet Jersey on Sunday. Makes it easier for my family to spot me along the way.

P-town or bust.

Ride safe, my friend.

Stop by at the dorms to say hi. My wife volunteers at the entrance to the dorms, and I usually hang out with her (after I've stuffed my face, showered, stuffed my face some more, got my massage, and eaten.)

Then we go home for dinner (we live nearby).

Congrats to everyone who completed it.

This was my fastest year yet. Into Bourne before 1:30. The rain sucked pretty bad but the group I ride with completed day one without any issues.

Got into P-town before 11 as well. Single flat in my group on Rt6 on near the welcome to P-town sign. First time in three years we’ve had a flat.

Amazing luck.

Congrats, well done!

I started at 6 from Wellesley, never saw anything on the road but light drizzle. Got in just after 1 on Saturday, and noon, if I remember correctly, on Sunday. Sunday was glorious, some of the best weather in my 21 years of riding the PMC!

How did you miss all the rain?

For me it started as we were leaving lunch and continued fairly steady all the way to Bourne. Felt like a drowned rat. Got into Bourne at 1:15 on the nose.

10:55 exact into P-Town. Even with stopping for the flat and to take the picture under the sign at the end of 6/6A

Always fun to find yourself in action amongst 6000+ photos

Far left. Looks like I’m stretching my arm out. Haven’t looked through Sunday yet.

Also me far left eating a fluffernutter in the Rapha brevet Jersey
