The newest classic stuff even has a nice ghosted logo. Way better than the old ones.

That said, an ultegra post and Thomson stem would also fit the build. I may try that first.

I love that this bike has fenders, and they look awesome on it.

I agree with thirdgen bird on the silver 100%

It's almost the opposite of my osprey. He has classy silver bits on a tig welded alloy frame and carbon fork. I've got a classy lugged frame dressed in carbon and heavily machined black alloy bits. It would be perfectly natural if the frames were swapped but both work as is.

NOS Shimano compact crank, since try as I might, I've accepted that I just can't huff it in my 'hood on a 39.

Long update, still truckin'...

Lost all the early photobucket pics, but startin' fresh.

Bike still rides awesome, and can't beat fenders if the ground is wet/damp. Dry shoes, dry shorts....bingo.
