At least take some pictures and share, especially since presumably you bought the wood sled which is super cool but once you have it who knows where to put it or if you will use it again. They certainly have come a long way from zipties on a cardboard inner sleeve. I have to say cutting the ties and removing the foam took me quite awhile because of course I didnt want to hit the frame with my wire cutters or drop them in the tubes.

No sled, the cost of it, plus additional shipping was too much.

My wife called and told me my bike is up on Instagram.

I'm not looking- I want some element of surprise.

It is scheduled to arrive by the end of next week.

I saw it too. It's gorgeous. But then I've always had a soft spot for Vagens.
Mine will be 7 years old in April. I still love it every time I ride it.

Wow..this photo is an incredible representation of the bike's paint job. Brilliant of you to notice this and I wonder if this might be a new way of explaining to a painter the feel and vibe you are looking for? Sweet.

Pdonk,

I am with you buddy...I did not look and will wait until after you see it. I want to be as surprised as you.

I always hated it when friends and family would hint at and even ruin surprises.

I'm sure it will be great!!! I look forward to your posts when it arrives....and I can't wait to hear about your ride impressions!!

It has been "fun" watching the route the bike is taking to get here

Portland - Minneapolis MN - Hodgkins IL - Maumee OH.

Delivery is schedule likely for Friday.

Nope, just the route UPS has decided the bike is going to take.

I expect the next update to be Windsor ON, then Concord then to my office.

Only 2 more sleeps until it arrives.
