Yea I might be felling the same way about the Zipp 404, but just not sure yet. The Reynolds where glued up and ready to use, the Zipps are just tire stretchers right now. Also I wanted to compare the ride of this frame to my Colnago Master X Lite with the same Reynolds wheels and tires.

Still much to learn, adjust and compare.

Mr. King's alloy tubulars ?? ......... Do tell more

Thx, no real ride time at all yet just a test spin around the block.

Also for me its hard to truly tell without several really good rides and some same day back to back rides with my other bikes, all while using the same wheels and tires.

So time will tell.

Very clean build/ride. Nice setup of parts to keep the frame the center of attention. It deserves it.

Waiting for ride report and comparisons.

I think my 2011 Surprise Me was a Sacha / Desalvo combo. 2 of the best torches in PDX. No complaints. My bike is a keeper for sure. Rides like nothing else out there. Just a smooth solid feeling bike. Well put together.

A friend of a friend was the guy who assisted with the 2011 SM scheme, so it's kind of sentimental to keep it.

That build came out amazing! I always go to shallow wheels on my SV and they rock, but nothing brings these bikes to life like deep carbon. The speed is immense.

Your 2011 Surprise Me paint looks cool !

Thx, the Reynolds Aero58 / 72 wheels may be a bit much, I'll be trying the Zipp 404s next I think.
