How does it work as a fishing bike?

Aren't you a fly rod guy?

I know, i said that to my wife yesterday, its almost summer steelhead time. rod will probably sling over my back and the rest will fit in the bag, should be good to go.

Good man.

I have a packable Sage/Hardy outfit and steelhead season arrives for me this fall on the north shore of Lake Superior.

Some small changes as these things do happen. I found a silver seatpost worthy of being on the bike this saturday. I went with a buddy to check out an old trek he wanted. the guy had tons of parts in hi garage so i asked if he had a 26.4 mm seatpost in silver. he comes back with this JPR fluted jobby with a couple scratches and goes "5 bucks". i said "sold!!!" I assumed Jean Paul Routens? Now i need a French race bike from the early 80s

also added a rear rack from my other bike to see how this one does loaded a bit more heavily. ill try it out tomorrow and see.

A couple new shots. replaced the Cassette with a Shimano 12-28 to expand my gearing. Back tot he mavic stem for height and the Brooks saddle for comfort. removed the rear rack, it just didn't work.

This bike is so nice I simply don't ride the Serotta much at all. This bike doesn't let me.

I'm not sure you could execute a build any better then this. Great job, cool bike. The perfect tool for those southern Oregon roads and "dirt/gravelways".

Is that a Jeopardy water bottle?
A spectacular finishing touch on a beautifully executed build.
