Re: Soyo

I purchased the wheels from Japan with the tires mounted.
The valves wren a bit puzzling at first, a mix between a Presta and a Schrader.
Turns out they are Woods valves.
The valve core popped out of the front tire under pressure and was lost during a test ride. Everything I have read about them say "whatever you do don't lose the valve core" doh!
As I stated the rear tire has seen better days.
Vittoria tubs for the win!

For the record, the Soyos ran buttery smooth.

Hey guys.. thanks so much.
The bike was sourced entirely from njs-export.
They do an excellent job packing and getting things here
intact. Shipping is a little expensive but the 20 percent off promotion
makes up for it. They have an ebay store as well.

Business Cycles is closed as the owner retired a few years ago.
I think there is still some inventory and some of the FVA guys at the velodrome
here have contact info. Track Supermarket is going strong.

I'm finally getting around to building up the unfinished bikes.
The Soyo tires were very old and falling apart so I finally managed to glue on a new set of Vittoria 23mm. Letting the cement sit for a day or two then I hope to get it out to the track later this week.
This bike is nasty.

Better Pictures

I got in a few shakedown rides in the park by my house and she's rolling very nicely.
Planning to hit the velodrome this Sunday.
