I have had great dealings with alomst everyone I come into contact with. Only a few folks who sold me stuff that were way different then described with regards to usage and quality. One is no longer here as they are too cool for Serotta, which is lame and the other not sure what happened to him.

So many of the guys I have dealt with here are brilliant.

Jimcav, Dave Thomson, Fixed, Doc Brooks, etc. Most folks who have been around for some time really make this place worth being here for.

None better then Sandy. He helped me out when I was down and I will never forget it. He is class embodied.

I do not know if i have ever done anyone wrong as no one has ever contacted me other then to say thanks. I have sold stuff, given stuff away, and donated. I hope folks get to hear that more and more about those of us who are happy to add in extra, take the time to put a bit of themselves into the gift or deal. I might not always say really inspirational things as I like funny more then anything, but hey, we all have our niche.

Sorry I dont' have any hip celtic sayings to end this...I am sure you guys and gals can find one.

To Imidate ... thank you for a smooth and enjoyable transaction.

To everyone else, do not hesitate to work with this member. He is top notch, rides a nice bike, and is great just to send message from-and-to.

Thank you!

so here's why this place "works"

I needed a Campy cassette. Liberace has one and said "I'll send it to you and if you like it pay me". How do you beat that??
Good people all over this forum.

Just got a seat from akelman, packed well and it arrived so quickly I still can't believe it was just Priority mail. Grabbed the Record compact cranks from his shed sale, they are on their way and I have no concerns. Of course I'll let you all know if anything goes terribly wrong.

Jeff N. just hooked me up with a great deal on some Ti spacers I was looking for. He mailed them before receiving payment, and they were just as described. Perfect!

He couldn't understand why I thought I should receive them, even though he had offered them. I gave him the option to buy me a used pair of pedals in lieu of shipping the others, and he said he'd do it. Needless to say, after months of back and forth, he never did send me what he promised. Ericspin is a typical contractor a-hole - you'll need to put everything in your acceptance and nail him down to it if you expect him to live up to his offer. Don't trust his word; it ain't worth sh#t.
I bought a bike from ericspin. it was a great deal, but the tires were different than the pic he sent me, and the bottle cages were missing. I emailed him about it and he said he would send them, but never did. I did not pursue it.
On the other hand, he told me the stem faceplate was cracked and he would get me a new one. The warranty was taking too long so he had the $10 part overnighted from an online vendor at great expense.
So I think he is honest, but not detail oriented or something.
