I think they are looking pretty spiffy - are you going to thread some Kirk barrel adjusters in there?

Its for my special lady friend, because i couldn't find a stock sized that wasn;t plastic and made for girls for her. and Im just not a stock plastic bike kinda guy either. I reached out to a few builders, and Aaron seemed like the obvious choice after initial discussions. He's so excited about everything and brings ideas to the table i never thought of.

That's awesome. And it looks like Aaron was able to dive right in on it..

What are you thinking for paint and the build?

Also can't read that without thinking of this:

"She's not my special lady, she's my ****ing lady friend. I'm just helping her conceive, man!"

^^^ I'll self destruct this w/in 24hrs to keep the thread clean

I usually put the Paragon stainless adjusters in there, but Matt's choice for sure!

But guess what the build will be... did you guess Campagnolo? you should have... id guess a mix of chorus and potenza, but maybe all silver potenza.

I referred to my wife as my special lady friend when we were dating, so it's all in good fun

Oh yeah, I figured silver Campy.

But maybe with a sub-compact IRD Defiant so you can get that nice wide gear range?

I want to try that setup, or a White Industries or Middleburn, at some point. Maybe on the next groader I'm working on (see my signature for a hint)...
