Ebay prices are slightly higher than what you'd sell locally also just because people want to offset the fee. So on top of everything else you have to take that into account.

Generally true, but if you're in a hot bike market locally, you can sometimes expect to pay the same.

But I agree with others, I prefer to price a bit lower, and ideally shift it along to someone who'll enjoy it, not flip it.
