I kinda wanna buy one of those rivnut tools just to have. Seems like it could come in handy!

I have one I'd be glad to loan out. Probably only have #10-32 mandrel but it's virtually interchangeable with M5.

you have to love amazon same day delivery. it's like these guys live next door.
tool worked brilliantly. i am now dreaming up where else i need to put rivnuts.

I gave something like this a shot when installing rivnuts in my van with some very frustrating results. Ended up buying a tool like the OP bought. Worth the price.
