Thanks for the heads up! I've heard good things about them, no better reason to finally try them.

Price too good to be true? Anybody have these? Also, for me I'm trying to be a little aware of who's manufacturing them with trafficked labor common enough through all through the garment industry; the price makes me a little concerned.

I use them occasionally, especially on the trainer because they occaisionally have factory seconds or customer mock-ups for $20. My fiancee doesn't care if my bibs have some weird club logo while I huff and puff on the trainer.

I think the chamois in the Ultimate model is actually quite good. The others can be hit or miss depending on what you prefer. The only thing is that the Ultimate price starts to approach other more established brands prices.

The jerseys are fantastic value though. I love solid colors, good cut, good material, etc.

huge fan.

a forum member jokingly referred to them here on another thread as a lycra diaper, and that image has stuck with me since.

yep they're cushy. works for me though, no issues up to 70 or so miles.

so far wearing well too.

I have a couple of pairs but they are my least favorite. The chamois is too thick for me and I feel like I'm falling forward while riding.

I have three pairs already, and I just ordered a pair of their adventure bibs and winter bibs from the sale. I think they are very comfortable; I wear them on road, gravel and MTB rides up to 4 hours.

Has anyone who finds their normal chamois too thick tried the ultimates?

I have three pairs of the basic level model from now going on three or four years ago I used heavily when commuting daily and now as a backup to the backup for the past year plus since moving to WAH.

They are good quality and have held up incredibly well especially considering the price. The chamois has deteriorated internally a bit otherwise no complaints.

For me they are better for casual riding, when hammering away i find higher end shorts with better chamois, fit and compression preferable.

I've got a pair and like them. The pad's not as comfortable off the bike as some but is just fine riding. Weird, I know.

For budget bibs I prefer Kucharik.

Terrific Results

Yesterday I rode with my new Black Bibs for the first time. Wow, they were extremely comfortable.

I typically ride on a San Marco Regal, so i have little padding from the saddle. Assos and Voler are in my current shorts/bibs rotation; neither of which are as "comfortable for me" as the Black Bibs, although I do prefer the appearance of the former.

The Black Bibs sure feel good to me and all for 59 buckaroos.
