I have one I'd be glad to loan out. Probably only have #10-32 mandrel but it's virtually interchangeable with M5.

you have to love amazon same day delivery. it's like these guys live next door.

tool worked brilliantly. i am now dreaming up where else i need to put rivnuts.

Nice--did you need to remove the old rivnut first? Just wondering how if you did.

Steel yes, that's what the kit came with.

To remove the old one, i put some pressure on the bolt in the outward direction with a set of angled cutting pliers and was able to screw the bolt out in that manner and drop it out through the seat tube.

I gave something like this a shot when installing rivnuts in my van with some very frustrating results. Ended up buying a tool like the OP bought. Worth the price.
