2007 Bianchi 928 Lugged
I'm a sucker for lugged frames. Found this Bianchi 928 a couple years back. Full 10 speed Record group matches the carbon weave perfectly.

I’m actually building up the same bike. Having it painted celeste but love this look.

Will do. Btw, this remains the best riding bike I have ever owned. Enjoy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That's a beauty! I am also partial to conventional tube bikes, not sure why
![]() So how do these 928 models ride, any specific attributes positive or negatives? |

Also agree on how the 928 rides, maybe not the "best" bike in my stable, but very much near the top. I'll never sell it and super happy it rides better than it looks. |

Very Nice!
I also always like lugged carbon better Look 585/Time/Parlee all rode nice & I bet this does too! Enjoy ![]() |

were these made at the Reparto Course or elsewhere?
Since this was early in the switch from AL to CF, curious if these frames were made by Bianchi or by another shop? Anyone know?

Is there any benefit to lugged carbon other than an aesthetic choice?

As far as my Google machine took me, the tubes and lugs were made in Japan then "glued" in Italy.

Probably less voids than a monocoque carbon frame of the same era.

Meaning there was a slight nice give to it. As opposed to mono which felt stiff but like dead wood to me |
