What’s the knobby Rene Herse tires? Were you able to squeeze 700c at 48mm there?

I can't comment on which RH tires he's got, but I'm running some plump 45mm(measure at 48mm) Conti's on my Crux with plenty of room, even with my front derailleur.

I think the clearance on the bike is for up to a 700c/2.1in

They are 48mm Oracle Ridges - measure about 49mm but fit just fine, a little tight in the rear (tee hee)

I also found a video of Lael Wilcox stating that she uses 700c X 48mm knobby (Rene Herse) on her Crux. I believe that Eric Nolan recently posted a picture on instagram in which his Crux looked to be supporting the Hatcher Pass (knob-less) Rene Herse...

I bet it will be even more fun with 48mm 700c. Gonna try that!

I was just stating the official numbers per Specialized I have run 700x50c Panaracer Gravelkings in my Crux (which actually measured right at 50mm); there was about 4mm of clearance to the chainstays. Fine in dry conditions and when running 1x. Those same tires won't fit with the Force AXS 2x setup I am currently running (they would rub the FD).
