First try on Ultradynamico tires too... these Rose Race tires are actually great, not too knobby and not slick, rolls quickly, has grip, looks fancy.
@sparky33 you peaked my interest about the drivetrain.

Anyone knows if 12 speed chain will work on "standard" 11 Speed SRAM ring on the front?

I haven't tried the 12s flattop chain on an 11s SRAM ring. This is a Wolftooth dropstop B chainring. Rene Hers 1x rings work with flattop 12s too.

Woops, quoted the wrong person

I've been running a Sram 12 speed chain on 11 speed Ultegra with Absolute Black rings for almost 3 years now with no problems.

Are you thinking of a double in the front or a 1x

@alexi I was inspired by what Sparky did here. so I was thinking about how I can use the existing brand new chain ring (11 speed) with Flat top...

As long as its a 1x it shouldn't be a problem. The inner width of a sram chain didn't change from 11 to 12 just the outer.

That looks awesome! I am looking at Ratio Tech options to expand the range of my SRAM 1x 11spd. I think I’ll go to 12spd and move up to the Eagle 50t cassette options so o can handle the 20%+ gradients I get sometimes.

Only issue I have is that I am running a RIVAL 1x 11spd crank…which doesn’t have a 12spd chainring option and Ratio’s chainring is 5-bolt, not 4. So I gotta figure out an option….thanks for sharing though!

**edit my point above: Ratio Tech says they have fitted their Ratio Ring to several Rival 1x cranks, so problem likely solved!

They compare favorably.
Ultradynamico tires have a casing that feels similar to what you find in a Standard casing RH. The weights are similar too. I am a big fan of RH tires and so am pleased that the UD tires have a familiar supple ride. The interesting thing that UD offers are their treads; the Rose is a bit less knobby than a Juniper, and it rolls as nicely as you think it should. I am curious how extra knobby the Mars is - something to try in the future.

...the UD tread colors are fun. UD brings back some of the styling that we enjoyed with red Hetres, old-school mtb tires, etc.

Good to know, thanks! I'd like to try the 700x33 Cava Race at some point on FF510. Weight-wise, they're supposed to be on par with RH's EL casing. UD's are 265g, and RH Stampede Pass EL are 254g (v. 291g for standard casing).

Are those the green black and tan ones in 33mm? I've been eyeing a pair as well because I want to find a nice 700c tire that would fit under fenders for my bike but conversely have been holding off because I dont think they'd make great winter/wet weather tires

Awesome priced frame that sold. I just acquired a g-road recently and am a big believer in the columbus spirit tubing!
