Beautiful bike. Interested in more ride impressions as you get used to it. Enjoy!

I'll update the first page with the build and get some better pictures soon!

Did you have your frame geometry decided on prior to ordering or did you work it out with David during the process?

Worked with Dave and his process, it's very close fit wise to what I have used for my bikes for a while, but he recommended some small changes, that honestly, feel really nice.

Still getting used to things, but each ride so far, I feel more at home on the bike, and it makes me want to push the pace even more

Beautiful bike!
Is it a 1" steerer with shim? The stem looks quite nice and slim.

@erik$, yes it's a 1" steerer, I was waiting for some new spacers to arrive, I'll post pictures of that soon.

Did some of the local hills on the island today with some riding buddies, and while I was pushing to keep up with them on the climbs, I ended up with some new PRs on most of the local climbs, downhill, the bike flies, and feels super comfortable leaning into turns. I can't wait to explore more on this bike.

Sure, it's a Specialized S Works stem in 110mm. Really nice and slim with minimal graphics, and it's plenty stiff.

Beautiful day out along the St. Lawrence. Swapped out tires for some Veloflex Corsa Evos in 28mm, feels great.

Great weekend riding with some friends in Mauricie National Park, about halfway between Montreal and Quebec City, beautiful road through the park that pretty much only had moto and bicycle traffic. The Kirk rips on the downhills, and felt great even though it was a lumpy ride.
