Kirk Onesto Terraplane

I've admired Dave's work for years, and finally decided to dive in and order a custom frame from him late last year. I finally came up into the cue, and things are moving along nicely.

Dave has been amazing to work with, great communication, great understanding of what I was looking for, and of course, unparalleled craftsmanship.

Build will be Campagnolo Record 11, and working on getting other components together for when this arrives.

Thanks to the other Kirk owners here for inspiration, as well as some great feedback and tips.

Sweet Jesus that's nice.

Stainless or regular? Paint or clear (the latter if stainless)?

Would've been better if that top tube was about 1.5cm shorter and you called me in a couple years.

Just stunning. Looking forward to final pics. Congrats!

Wow!! That is beautiful!

A small thing but...that head badge is also very nice & I can see it is
set nicely & not going to catch thing like some sharp pointy edged head badges

Congrats on a beautiful frame

More in progress photos, fork is next. Super excited as this moves along.

@54ny77, 100% Stainless, plan is to have the standard "frosted beer mug" finish with polished logos, and the head badge. The TT is a little longer than my no22, but the contact points will be very similar.

Pictures of Kirk frames in progress are some of the primary reasons I love metal bikes.

oh that's really nice herb.

i do hope you will post some photos of where it goes. i know next to nothing about what the road riding might be like out of Montreal. i bet there is some stunning stuff outside of the city.

anyway, excellent bike, cant wait to see it built up!
