A small frame to be sure. Perhaps for someone 4'11-5'1"?? I'm impressed that it can use 700c wheels. And... it's a Land Shark.

The seller said that 28s might fit, but I'm not sure.
Could also be a really fun 650b build, which might look nicer with the frame size.

Serotta Fierte Titanium/Carbon road bike, size 52S

Serotta Fierte Titanium/Carbon road bike for sale. Size is 52S. Titanium frameset with Columbus carbon fork and Serotta carbon seat stays. Just built with a lightly-used Shimano 105 triple (3x10) groupset I had on hand, along with Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheels and 3T carbon bars. New headset, new chain, new cable housing and inner wire, and new bar tape.

Frame sizing is what Serotta calls a 52S (for 52 short), which means it has a shorter top tube for shorter reach. Suitable for a rider around 5ft to 5ft 6in, give or take. My measurements show an effective top tube length of 49cm, and a head tube length of 135mm. Seat height as pictured is 71cm, measured from crank center to top of saddle, along seat tube.

Serial # FT 52S 943.

Asking $1300 plus shipping.

I just bumped the ads for my 48cm Moots RLS Disc with SR EPS 12 and my Serotta CDA of a slightly larger size and just listed my 50cm Serotta Meivici with Super Record 11 EPS.

Well, you'd want to get a new fork that doesn't look ugly and the components are way out of date. Did this help? I said the above in jest, as I really like Steve Rex's work and remember when he just started building.

Yes on both. It would be an investment to de-uglify which is why I want someone to talk me out of it lol. I think you just did.
