New Bixxis Fronda frameset

The new Bixxis Fronda gravel frame embodies our idea of gravel: an instinct for adventure and the freedom to live offroad, are combined with Bixxis’ race identity. The geometry is studied in every detail, and ensures high performance on all types of road. The customised shapes of the exclusive Bixxis X-Stay chainstays and seatstays allow the use of both tires up to 38mm and a flat mount disk brake system, while the shape of the semi-sloping frame adds consistency, functionality and style.

The Fronda stands out for its aesthetic attention to detail, such as the brazed logo located under the bottom bracket shell. Colors and components are fully customizable.

Frame features:
Material: Steel
Tube sets: Columbus Spirit with custom chainstays
Construction method: TIG welded
Geometry: Custom made (sloping or traditional)
BB Shell: Italian threaded 70mm
Seatpost diameter: 29.4 mm
Front Derailleur style: clamp-on, 32 mm

Retail for the Fronda frame with Enve All-Road carbon fork is $3000. We will have a complete Fronda to view at NAHBS in August.

Velo pal, please don't get me wrong, I like you a lot...

It's like Popeyes chicken saying we are rollin' out a new chicken sandwich but sorry, we can't tell you anything until it becomes public. Here I am thinking to my self, I have been showing up faithfully every Tuesday for the last 6 years at the window to get fried chicken at popeyes. The least I would expect in return for my loyalty is a chance to sample their new recipe...

How could you come to Paceline, which we all know is THE place where all bike connoisseurs gather together, and tell us you gonna bring a new model to the bike show and not give us a glimpse or some pictures?

Where's the chicken sandwich??!

I would love to give you the name or final details. But I've been sworn to secrecy. What would you like to see from Bixxis? What material or frame type?
GREAT place and way to introduce this new product..NOT 'exactly' like a chicken sandwich...

New product has been introduced at various product shows for decades..MUCH better to do it in person than some sort of forum/interweb/blog/website type 'stuff'....

I am pretty sure it’s not this, but fillet brazed stainless steel disc with room for about 35mm tires.

The Epopea(Epic) frame is lugged Columbus SLX. I've posted pictures of it. Bixxis is making another frame I just found out about on Thursday.

All 3 of these would be excellent! I love to see a fillet brazed XCR frame. And it all polished up. It would look incredible. Something like this one.

You should have seen the arguments we had around here about a tuna sandwich about 15 years ago.....

I'm glad it's a chicken sandwich. I don't like tuna. As long as it's not a chicken salad sandwich. Not a fan of those either.

The plan was to announce a new frame at NAHBS. We are working on an announcement in the next week since NAHBS has been postponed. So stay tuned for the New Bixxis ******.

Yes. It was gravel. And steel. And disc. BUT, since it's custom, if you wanted a traditional road geometry for 35's to ride on the road, this will do it.
