The owner is a fan of the Giro and has ridden the course, hence the pink color. He usually goes over for the Giro and that's when he went to Seregno to see Doriano and get fit for the frame. He had one frame made, the pink and blue one. It was damaged in shipping so Bixxis made another, the pink with black. He rode that till recently when he was hit by someone and it damaged the toptube. Doriano was on steel frames at the time so I was able to sneak his replacement in before the batch was finished.

This custom Prima is heading to its new home today. 1850 grams of Columbus Spirit tubed goodness all crafted by Doriano De Rosa in Seregno Italy. I figured a few cobblestone pictures are fitting for this stunner.

This frame is actually a replacement for one that was damaged when a car hit the rider back in January. It's identical down to the finish. He was personally measured by Doriano and Martina in Italy when he and his wife visited the factory last year. His wife was measured as well and they are going to be ordering a Pathos titanium frame shortly for her anniversary/birthday present.

It's a custom 56.5cm C-C TT with a 54.0cm C-C seattube. It has a horizontal toptube.

No worries. I wasn't sure about the color till it arrived. It's a really cool metallic pink. It's not like crazy pink or anything. He based it off the Giro Pink(his favorite race).

Correct! There was one at Sacramento. And Salt Lake City. The first one was in SLC but it arrived damaged so it was never delivered to the client. The replacement was in SAC but he was hit by a truck in March? so this is it's replacement.

It is. BX-06 is the color code we use, Antiqua Blue Metallic. But it has another name... Ugo Blue or De Rosa Blue. It's a really common color that the De Rosa family has used for decades. Martina told me that Ugo really loves it. It's the same color Bixxis uses for their logo color.
