That Peggie-disco is sweet- but pricing is crazy.
This must be a shop.

Pricing is actually probably pretty good for a brand new frame with super record and carbon campag wheels, but unfortunately the soul has been removed.

You think so? Then I take it back- I had no clue that the stainless version had such a premium.

Looks like a shop picked it up and priced it about where it should be, unfortunately.

Dont get me wrong, I would never pay anywhere near the 5 figure mark for any bicycle, but for the right buyer that might be a deal on a bike you can have right now.

100% agree. No way would I spend 5 figures on a Campy bike right now with wireless eps about to drop this summer. Granted campy resale doesn’t follow the typical trend of dropping drastically with a new edition but still.

good luck to them.. I think that's a hard sell in this day.. you have, to most, an obscure bike brand that has an obscure frame and not the best parts spec (that stem just looks way to funky on that bike).. I'm not saying it isn't worth it, but I know what a Serotta and an HC is.. most Ebay buyers have no idea.. and sure, it's got Dura Ace on it, but 9sp DA that most folks want nothing to do with unless they are a collector IMHO.. especially based on some of the Serottas that's been hanging around Ebay for a long time at lower prices..

That bike is only valuable to just the right person, and I have no idea who that is anymore. There are few folks <50 who even remember who/what Serotta is. Those with heavy nostalgia are either busy embracing the latest carbon or Ti wonder bikes with e-shifting and disc brakes, or have moved on to full on e-bikes.

For the rest of the world, that is just a peculiar [read:ugly] looking bike, an obscurity at best. The right buyer might be out there, but 2 grand with taxes and shipping is a lot for that bike in 2023 IMO.

That paint is fitting, it looks like a Real Pegoretti is inside and it wants to get out.

Imagine selling a bike for that much, and seemingly using a camera to photograph, but still just leaning it on a metal cafe chair…second photo had me thinking it had a wavy second top tube

Specialized Epic Evo - Large - $3,000 (Chestnut Hill)

I just got this at the end of December. Unfortunately due to lingering injuries I am not going to be able to use this in the foreseeable future so I am selling it. Only ridden 4-5 times in the Fells reservation. I bought it off the Specialized website, it is this model:

As a former respo owner I get 'buy once, cry once' for some things, but that price would make my eyes water quite a bit.
At that price I think the seller should at least throw in the schmolke carbon saddle he has for sale.

Long fork steerer expander

Came across this long expander for carbon forks.
I've never purchased one myself but seller has 100% and for the Canucks, it's "local".
