Alan has been around forever. No idea if it's the same company now or if just in name. This looks like a nod to their roots with screwed and glued frames, aluminum lugs with aluminum and then carbon tubes.

Alan frames are Ok but

check for cracks in the lugs.
Very common for lugs to crack.

Hi Charles, I believe this is their modern frame, which is all carbon. It's just painted to look like the old aluminum lug version, but there are no lugs to crack.

The frame does look cool, a striking reference to the Alan Carbonio bonded frames of the 1980s.

The fork doesn’t look so cool, these frames come stock with a silver carbon fork referencing the aluminium fork of the Carbonio, not an aftermarket Enve, which always makes we wonder where the proper fork designed for and with the frame went…

Unfortunately a bit too large for me.
Didn't realize that Serotta Pronto Alerts automatically had reminders.

While on the topic above on Parlees, this seems like a deal. 11s Ultegra, carbon wheels and $1k:

Practically new Serotta DKS 59.5

Traveling to eastern CT for work and I always check CL for interesting finds when I go places....stumbled across this thing: https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/...598188784.html

Curious to hear from Dave as this seems nearly perfect shape and probably interesting for someone, although the price is pretty steep at $3,200
