Marco is among the craftsmen selected by Shimano to assemble the limited edition of the GRX groupset on an exclusive handmade model.
He is working on the design of a titanium frame with a special finish, which will be produced in only 10 pieces and customized with the owner’s name just for this occasion.

Looking forward to seeing what Marco does with the project!

If I were in the market for a bike, I'd get it on something like this, with dark brown touchpoints:

Ok now that's a cool pic.

I think Bertoletti's skillset depth of building in different materials and the paintwork....man he's pretty much at the top of the ladder from anything I've ever seen on the forum or elsewhere. Just beautiful.

Appreciate the kind words, and for the forum to allow me to introduce Bertoletti frames in the states. Those that know his resume and contribution to frame building understand why Greg was there

Bubble for working on bike?

Looking at old photos at the start of this thread and saw their factory floor had a clear bubble like structure with a frame in it? For inert gas welding? Never seen anything like it in tour photos with US custom framebuilders.

A Bergamo thing (or any other region of the world where metal working is intensely practiced)? I've noticed that both Passoni and Nevi also utilize purge chambers. Like Legend, probably not exclusively but where quality dictates/practicality permits.

Those that know Marco's history, he was the head builder at Passoni via Ti.
They all reach out to him based on his experience. Legend employs a special chamber — a plastic bubble envelops the workbench — that is filled with high-grade argon gas for welding the frames. He works at a distance using gloves that are sealed in the bubble, but it produces a weld that is strong enough to be “smooth finished”.

Tandem

Tandem made for the Malaysian Paralympic national team passed the UCI check and was ranked among the lightest. Custom as always.

Polkadots

Not my frame, but too nice not to share imo.

Ever since our friend and Paceline member Dan had his Ti dancing in Polkadots, I've been intrigued ever since. Just another recent example....
