Arrival fresh from Italy today.....this RAL 5012 paint is far more beautiful in person than in pics. The 11-32 cluster should prove worthy even on the toughest climbs. Off to the workshop I go....

Legend = Black Magic

I did not get my Legend from Elite Velo, so if he or the Mods want to move or delete my post, okay. When my garage was burgled in August I posted about it here on the forum and mentioned Legend. Elite Velo kindly PM'd me, but I had already begun working with a Euro shop, so I stuck with that roll of the dice. I have had my Giau for one month and have ridden more this January then in the preceding ten. Yes, our weather has been kind of dry here at 5000 ft., but really its the bikes fault! I bought the least expensive frame and built it up for low cost and strength. I now have the best fitting, best ridding bike I have ever had and I have been lucky enough to have had many very good bikes in my life. It is snowing today, so here is an indoor pic. Saddle, wheels and stem from my left over parts, Ultegra 8000 from the UK, yes I'm one of those people, so cost was low and it weigh's 16.5 lbs as pictured. In my opinion it punches way, way, above it's weight. Unbeatable bang for th buck. The only reason I have not already ordered another Giau frame is because my Honey wants me to get a Legend Ventoux, just like hers.

His trademark color for that frame. I had the pleasure of seeing and taking a short ride on one with vintage Campagnolo Sigma tubulars. I won't bore you with the popular cliche's, but it was that nice. A true classic. To quote Ernesto Colnago, it's a true "arte in movimento". In hindsight, I should have bought it. I like the new color as well.

For full out customization, the Fedaia is a popular choice.

Prototype e-bike

Here is a preview of a prototype aluminum e-bike offering from Legend. Choose your path and how much effort you want to do: thanks to the POLINI MOTORI SPA E-P3 engine, you can optimize the power (500 watts peak) and torque (up to 70Nm) to adjust cues and battery consumption. More info to come.
