On the "Big bikes and beyond" Facebook group, which is private; you'll need to join the group to get to the link.

DeSalvo frame, fork, headset for $850
"63cm seat tube center to top, 60cm top tube center to center, 231mm head tube between the head set. Enve fork and Chris King headset. Mix of Columbus Max (DT) and Life tubes. Never crashed but there is a small ding in the top tube.

Buyer to pay actual shipping."

A touch pricey, perhaps, but not if it fits you. And desalvo/max/life/enve/king should be an awesome combination.

I thought the group folded. It disappeared for me and I can't find it by search anymore?

Anybody here part of the group who could encourage them to post here? Would be interested in details about that top tube ding and tire clearance...

Weird. I'll look into it, may just be my phone..

They must've made it invite-only, if you can send a note to teh admin or something, that's great. Daniel Williams on FB.

Nah it looks like you aren't a "member" anymore. Some of your for sale items still exist for posterity, but you are grey'd out. That's weird though for sure.

On the DeSalvo note, that is a beautiful shade of blue and a great looking bike. Lucky for me I don't need yet another frameset to linger around the house/garage!

It’s my frame, I’m pretty sure the chain stays are Max too, but the seat and top tube are Life. The ding is almost imperceptible, really hard to show in a photo. Here is the drawing and few more pics. The rear wheel and tire in the pic is a Belgium plus with a Vittoria Corsa 28 at 100 psi. Plenty of room, the limit is the fork. I’ve tried 30’s with no luck. The right brakes and a different fork maybe it will take 32’s. I’m selling because I am planning to get something else and I need to help fund that and a new MTB for my son who keeps growing out of bike. I’m 6’5” for reference on the frame size.

That DeSalvo is beautiful!

Selling my road bike to get a Knolly Cache and convert the igleheart to a road-ish bike.

Reposted here: https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...110037103.html

Happy to sell without wheels. The top tube paint chip happened when I moved. Frame has super short stays and limited to 23s.

It won't even pull up the group for me. That's what's so weird..
