Thx.
I have a 2016 Great Divide with the previous generation fork which easily accomodates a (measured) 30mm tire. This is with Cane Creek eebrakes. I think 32’s on my bike would probably be too close.

I’ve seen the current No22 rim brake fork used by other builders- 32’s were easily cleared but again, with the eebrakes.

Hi All -

Sorry for the late reply here. Indeed, we've designed our forks to get as large a tire as a contemporary caliper will allow.

We always list our clearance as measured (what does your caliper say when the tire is mounted and inflated) given the vast number of rim/tire combinations.

On the subject of rim models, we do have two Great Divide rim brake completes in size 52 & 54 available at a significant discount on the clearance section of our site if anyone's interested. Happy to toss-in a set of Silca Ti cages finished to match to any Paceliners.

Cheers-

I've seen a couple of NO.22 bikes with the hidden coupler rolling in Hawaii. Pretty amazing how invisible it is. Beautiful frames and builds.

A buddy just got a no22 and it looks more amazing in person! If I ever have the opportunity, i’d love to have one of my own.

Working with Above Category in Marin on an integrated Drifter X!

I'm a bit concerned about the longer chain stays, 430ish at my size, compared to 420 on my Open, but I'll trust these guys experience.

I love the new Cerakote finishes, but have a hard time justifying the cost for something purely cosmetic.

Also, strongly leaning 2x, as this bike is for going fast on all surfaces...but love the simplicity of 1x...

All good problems to have!

3rd this. 1x for CX and MTB makes sense, almost every other scenario is better on a 2x.

We had an Aurora through the shop recently, I can't believe they get that bike sub 17lb with so much metal!

Yeah, I’d def trust them in regards to geo numbers. A frame is never just one number, but a sum of all parts.

I’m a big fan of color/finishes on Ti bikes. I get that the usual media blasted frame + black carbon fork is classic, but going with a finish makes your bike more unique.

1x vs 2x. I’m finding this out now. Eventually I’d like to get a HT and then update my FireFly build with 700c wheelset and a 2x drivetrain.

Enjoy and can’t wait to see your post your build!

Thanks for the replies!

I'm going 1x, but SRAM so I can easily add a FD and rings if I find 42 x 10-44 too annoying from the gear gap perspective.

I'm told I'm in line for my frame build in September, so I'll keep you posted.
