I was looking into Bixxis before getting on my recent Pegoretti spree and they have very attractive offerings for those looking for a reasonable price-point and quicker delivery. Communication is excellent direct from the DeRosa family and it seems the ordering process is pretty straightforward. If I had the need for another bike they'd be close to the top of the list, regardless if it was gravel, road, or all-road.

Seconded, I have an elongated exchange with Doriano and he has always been excellent.* I know that he has, to some degree, been working on a Ti version of the Fronda but is not yet satisfied with his ability to shape the chainstays to his satisfaction so if you're after gravel or all-road your choices are steel or steel.

*There is a LOT left unsaid in that sentence. One day …

Whats happened with velocipede ? I hope he's doing well. I mailed him months ago with no response ?

I got an enigma from him in 2018 and called him about a piece for it. he called me back the next day. he said the spine thing is still a serious problem that they might have to remove the implants which would be major surgery again since its all fuzed in place. guess he goes to the doctor multiple times a week over this tryin to figure out what to do. he said the infection he had is back to.
