Campy 12s FD with 11s group?

Can I use a newer 12s front der with a older 11s white label super record group? The cage on my FD has cracked, and it seems about the same cost to replace the FD with a 12s item. Any inputs appreciated.

Yes...it actually may be better..adjust well. 'May' consider a metal cage one, like Chorus tho.
