Problems uploading photos

I haven’t been able to upload photos to my post. Using my iPad I select a photo, hit upload and receive an upload failed message. Is my photo too large for the size limit? Am I restricted because I’m new? Is my connection too slow?

I read through the photo posting thread suggested to me.

Thanks.

Using an app like Tapatalk tends to make this easier, YMMV.

The forum software has a size limit on photos. I can't tell you what it is offhand but that could be the issue. If I post a photo I usually have to downsize it.

Being new doesn't matter. You are welcome here !

We have an iPad 4 MD513C/A.
The photos taken are about 990 KB, 1936 X 2592.

The upload limits here are 146.5 KB, 1024 X 1024.

So prob just go over image size restrictions.

At least on the web interface, the limit seems to be higher. You click "Go Advanced", then the paperclip icon, you get a window called "Manage Attachments". You can select a large image, then click "Upload". The attachment can be a larger image. The paperclip icon now allows you to insert this image in the message (or a group of uploaded images if you prefer).
