I really like How Campy 10 works mechanically, but I miss the ergonomics of Shimano and Sram levers. My hands stayed in the same position all the time. But I feel like I had to do a lot of re-shifts.

With Campy, if I ever want to use the thumb shifter, I have to move my whole hand. But thats just me.

I have 10s centaur power torque shifters and I downshift to smaller cogs from the hoods or the drops. Easy. Effortless.

Ha! Don't hate them for what happened to the album after it got popular...

I would take campy 11 over 10 any second of the day. Ergonomics is next to none, works great, looks good (ok not as good as 10 but can't have everything).
This. I'm already stocking up on Campy 11 consumables. Currently have 10x Record chains and 5x Cassettes. 5x rubber hoods too, as those do wear. A few packs of 10x inner and brake cables). Been keeping an eye out for promotions and going to continue stocking up.

Also have a few spare derailleurs in each marque.

I run 2 x Chorus groups and 1 x Record group. I love the levers - for me, this is where it all starts with a groupset. Campy 11 levers are compact and feel incredible in smaller hands. Multiple positions that all work well. Plus you can navigate up/down almost as well as Di2 without the problems of an electronic system.

In the not-too-distant future I'll be ditching my carbon frames and going steel, ti and aluminum.

Not interested in disc. Not interested in Di2.

Left one for ERGO, right one for their brake levers..even tho each lever was made 20-30 years ago..still made by Campag..for info.

Campagnolo really is outstanding when it comes to the availability of replacement parts..Now, if they would only produce a run of the "Record-Ti" generation cassette bodies for those hubs...

I cannot find Record 10 carbon brake levers only as a replacement part--in fact, the supply of most/all 10 levers only seemed to have dried up. Shifting paddles, I see occasionally. The new bundled bodies with the shift paddle, yes. But not levers...

And we know what part gets ground up with road rash--the levers...

Yes, brake blades...

I thought I had a line on a pair from a UK Campag authorized factory repair place-and that fell apart.

I am a self-confessed hoarder and probably has more number of 9 speed complete groupset than anyone alive and I am still afraid that i may not have stocked up enough for long days ahead.

I know I am talking about shimano but just to bring our conversation back to campy....I have acquired two bikes that came complete with 10 speed Chorus so what do I do? Yup, I swapped them out for shimano but guess what, I left the crankset on, in both instances just because I think it has one of the prettiest silver finish...

I had Carbon Rec'd 10 and still have the cranks(can't stand the chrome stuff anymore.

Yeah, it's not the prettiest. Think I'll go back to the American Classic, or maybe keep the Record carbon on there once I get my black stem in the mail.. Choices. No idea if my nether regions will survive the Rolls either. Been a while since I've ridden one. But since that NOS beauty has sat unsold on my shelf for a year, I figured I might as well try it out.
