Shipping to Canada?

All,

Selling a frameset and the buyer is in Canada and has offered to have FedEx pick up the box from my house in the US. Any risk that I need to handle the customs duties or anything that nature? Seems too easy...

Thanks!

It is that easy.

We deal with all duties, customs, and fees on our end.

The only issue I have ever had (and this was a decade ago) was someone said they would put it "on their fedex account" and never paid. Eventually FedEx contacted us about paying. Went a little sideways.

Unless you’re shipping at the post office, it’s pretty dang easy. At the post office you have to fill out a form but that’s it.

Sold a frameset to a Canadian forum member last year and shipped through FedEx Ground. Very easy shipment with all necessary forms available on the FedEx website. All customs duties are paid by the recipient. If the buyer is completing all the paperwork, you should have nothing to do beyond boxing up the bike.
