Not sure if it is geo-restricted, but here is the live coverage for streaming.

Back in the 90's I worked for a firm in downtown Lexington. I was on a call in my office one Patriots day with the windows open. After the pancake breakfast, some of the militia were having fun and firing off their muskets. The guy I was talking to asked me what the noise was and I said "its the Revolution." He expressed some concern about my reply, and I said "don't worry, its touch and go for a few years but we win in the end."

If you aren't from Boston, today doesn't make a lot of sense. But if you are, its the best day of the year.

Agree comments merely, Bradford.

If you aren’t from around here, some of the events might make sense but the whole package of Patriots Day might not.

Re-enactments of Revere’s ride followed by battles at Lexington and Concord(plus other nearby community Minutemen Company events. Red Sox at Fenway, and the Marathon.

The city and the area are electric today.

3x BM'er here. Nothing is better than Boston on Patriots day. You can smell the beer 2 miles away from BC, the sox fans coming out hootin', and the city around and all of people along the entire route make it amazing.

Joan Benoit Samuelson-- 40 years later her goal was to come within 40 minutes of her 1979 winning time. She beat it by 11 minutes !

3:04 at age 61. Imo in the top five of all time great female athletes, in any sport. Congrats Joan !

Joan ran almost 5 minutes faster than NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson. He finished but was bummed he didn’t go sub 3 hour.

But still pretty cool he fit it into his schedule and did it without much fanfare. Plain black shorts and t-shirt, ball cap and sunglasses. No logos and nothing special except the BAA gave him number 4848 (his car is number 48).

When recognized, people said he was very down to earth.

Johnson did 3:09 (in his first marathon). Not bad for a race car driver -haha.
Also he had a connection to Sean Collier, the MIT police officer who was killed. Andrew Collier (his brother) used to used to work in Johnson's garage or something like that - Boston Strong!

I saw that she ran with her daughter - so cool.
I remember when she ran in her Bowdoin singlet. Those were the good old days.
Now if BR ran next year..........
