Congrats on being a dad - that is one CUTE kid! A lucky kid to have an attentive dad around. Look forward to seeing more bikes come out of Alliance HQ in the new year. Here's to keeping things simple in 2014 with kids, family and bikes!

I finished this Allroad last week and thought I would share. It features a double butted Reynolds tubeset, three color liquid paint by Keith Anderson, and a painted to match Seven long reach carbon fork. The bike is built with 2015 Campy Chorus with a pressfit 30 crank and ceramic bearings. Challenge paris roubaix tires are mounted onto a pair of King R45/Enve 25 wheels. A carbon Ritchey handlebar, 3T stem, and one of my titanium seatposts tops it all off.

WOW!

Very nice Erik! I'm a full ridged kind of guy but a hard tail may be in my future. Those look very sweet. Full squish is cool but I've never been on one that that didn't feel too squishy under my clydesdale body.

Alliance now on Instagram

Hi All,

I started an Instagram account a few months back as another option to display my work. I've mostly been using Facebook and Flickr as visual outlets for the bikes going out the door.

I will continue to update the news section on my website, but at a slower pace. Only finished bikes and major news will be added there. Shop photos, customer photos, component highlights, etc can be found on the other platforms. So if you would like to be up to date on the happenings around Alliance Bicycles please follow me on instargram, flickr, or facebook.

I was going for classic from start to finish on this one. Nothing fancy here; threaded bb, standard headtube, 27.2mm seatpost, long reach brakes, fastback chain and seatstays, and the smooth ride of titanium in medium sized diameters.
I finished it off with Campagnolo's beautifully revised Athena kit, Grand Cru brakes, Wound Up fork, Cane Creek 110 headset, and a pair of titanium King cages. I was also able to track down the older black logo Ritchey classic stem/post as it matches the Athena parts perfectly. A pair of DT 350/Velocity A23 wheels setup tubeless with Huchinson cross tires keeps this thing rolling. The cherry on top is a sterling silver head badge set against a hand brushed finish. Thanks for looking.

My all time benchmark bike - the one I compare all others against is a bike Erik Built for me. In every way perfect - took big tires, was nimble, comfortable - made me love riding more! ... it was that fun.

I regret selling it when I started building more myself. My personal bikes since then have been modeled after the ride feel of this bike. I wouldn't hesitate to get another from Eric - next time I'd try TI - with thru axle rear and disc

That is a seriously nice road bike.

In the theoretical world where I can afford (and fit in my apartment) a titanium disc road bike with fender capabilities, Erik is one of the builders I theoretically want to have it made by.
