Exciting! I hope to one day own an Alliance TI. Cool dude, awesome bikes. I regret selling my steel all-road. But i have an excuse for a Ti rig one day!

Hey mine is coming up nicely too!

Erik has been great to deal with. I'm so excited that I'm thinking about posting a thread about the Alliance experience in the gallery.

More photos of Martin's bike

I had some fun today looking around the shop for random parts that would fit onto Martin's frame. He ordered the Frame/Fork/Seatmast Topper/Stem from me, but the other parts are from a 29er hardtail I'll be assembling tomorrow. That and an old headset I shaved down for a slip fit to mock up forks.

I'm anxious to see what Martin has in store for his build. It will be a flat bar setup with tires up to 45c for bombing fire roads and trails. And by clearance for 45c tires, I mean all the way around. The seatstays, but more uncommon, the chainstays will clear some big rubber. The fork will too.

Headbadges

I also received my first batch of headbadges this week. I'm really happy with the finished product. Metals choices offered are yellow bronze, white bronze, and stainless. The bronze ones will patina various amounts depending on your climate, bike storage, and sweat. They will develop quite the personality as the years go on.

I just posted a holiday shop update on my blog and figured I would cross-post it here too. I hope everybody enjoys the holidays.

Great update Erik. Looks like you've been prioritizing the right things in life. Enjoy it.

How does moving the shop help ya out? Is it closer? It's not in the shed or something?
