This guy just went out the door - JKS with routing for internal brake and Di2 wiring and Terraplane stays.

I don't look in the rear view mirror all that often and instead tend to focus on what's getting big in the windshield. That said I can't resist sharing something that the good folks at Reynolds sent along with my latest tube order.

It seems they stumbled across my "Master Framebuilder 753" certificate and they made zerox copies and sent them to me. I remember taking this brazing test. It sticks out in my mind because it needed to be silver brazed and all the work we did at Serotta was brass brazed and so much different. I think I did one practice joint in silver before taking the test. It turned out that I was one of the first in the USA to pass the test - that felt good.

Hard to beleive this was almost exactly 24 years ago.....if feels like an event from a previous life.

That color has a nice "pop" to it, and all the black components help the color stand out.

I'd love to hear what the rider thinks about the oversized tubing. It's obvious the frame is for a taller person, but I'd be curious to know whether they find the ride harsh, flexy, or just right for their bodyweight and riding style.

Keep 'em coming.
