Slowly reviving a Bridgestone xo-2, just picking the frame back up today, had to get some shipping damage fixed.

Recently acquired a Mr Pink. Have to go over it before setting it up to fit me. Make sure everything is properly lubed and adjusted over the next few weeks

One of the rear canti bosses was bent upwards, and one of the fork blades pushed inwards.
Otherwise a fair amount of scratches, small dings, and shallow dents that I'm ignoring.

Prior owner swapped the handlebars, but otherwise it was nearly new prior to the damage.
Original tires and tubes basically disintegrated though.

Just hooked up the drum brake cable, at this point considered complete, going on a ride with the wifey later this afternoon, can't wait to test out the drag brake on a steep descent.

Heh! Like the first time I did the brakes on a car we owned (we were both in grad school and seriously broke). She had never seen anyone do such a thing, so when I was finished, she made me drive it around the town house parking lot, and demonstrate that the brakes worked!

In bike news--just switched out the bars on the Look 585, ditching the RHM Dedas for a more conventional shape, replaced a front tube on same, and put new 25mm tires on the wheels I'm using on the Time this year. Been sorting through the parts bin too -- eBay is next.

Going down a gradual descent that typically hits 30 mph easily on a single, I can only imagine the speed would be higher on a tandem but the drag (drum) brake kicked in and kept the max at 23.
